Valérie Courrèges is an acclaimed winemaker bringing fresh energy and sustainable practices to the Cahors region in southwest France. After starting her career as an oenologist in Provence, Valérie found the perfect opportunity in 2019 to purchase 22 hectares of old vines nestled in the clay and limestone soils of Cahors. Inspired by legends like Lalou Bize-Leroy and Jean-François Ganevat, she immediately set to work converting the entire estate to biodynamic farming, reflecting her deep commitment to preserving the natural expression of terroir.

Valérie’s wines are known for their purity, elegance, and balance, with a focus on old-vine Malbec that showcases the region’s historic potential. Her meticulous approach in both vineyard and cellar is evident in every bottle, as she uses minimal intervention techniques, native yeasts, and aging in traditional vessels to let the fruit and soil truly shine.

Valérie Courrèges is part of a new wave of producers redefining the future of Cahors, and her wines are quickly gaining attention for their vibrancy and authenticity.
