Roberto Voerzio is one of the two best winemakers in Barolo. He is respected by all and is beholden to no one. He does everything his way with only one goal: make the best wine that can be made in La Morra. His production of 4,000 cases annually averages one bottle per vine. He only bottles his Riservas in Magnums. His yields on his Dolcetto vines are almost as low as those of the Nebbiolo. There is no one in Barolo making wines like those of Roberto Voerzio.
