One of the oldest established Barolo houses and the most important landowner of Barolo’s greatest crus. Its viticultural beginnings date back to the 1700s, and Oddero’s first bottle was released in 1878. Oddero’s 35 hectares include but are not limited to Bussia in Monforte d’Alba, Brunate in La Morra, Vigna Rionda in Serralunga, Villero in Castiglione Falletto, and Gallina in Neive. Today, the iconic estate in La Morra is run by the fifth and sixth generations: Giacomo Oddero and his daughters, Mariavittoria and Mariacristina. In 2017, Oddero completed the process of converting its Nebbiolo vineyards to certified organic.
