Founded in 1952, the winery is now run by two generations of the founding family. Franco and Sergio Minuto, Sergio’s daughter Martina the enologist, and Franco’s son Stefano. The winery focuses its efforts on the production of three Barbaresco from two areas; the commune of Barbaresco and the commune of Nieve. The winery produces just over 5000 cases of wine each year using sustainable farming methods. We have tasted these wines and spoken with the Minutos for many years while visiting Italy and are very happy to be able to now work with them in the Mid-Atlantic.
