Since being established in Monforte d’Alba in 1864, the Fennochio winery has been producing classic Piemontese wines for five generations. Since his father Giacomo’s passing in 1989, Claudio Fenocchio has overseen the family business including 14 hectares of prime vineyard holdings in Bussia, Cannubi, Castellero, and Villero. Vineyard management at Fenocchio is organic and attentive. In the cellar a traditional approach of native fermentation and extended skin contact is embraced. Aging in large Slavonian oak casks provides ideal conditions for wines to mature while maintaining classical purity of fruit and expression of terroir.
