El Pintor is a collection of author agave spirits, masterfully crafted by Guillermo Barroso, the second certified maestro Tequilero in the world.
El Pintor Blanco is a truly work of art. The process is started by selecting only ripe blue agaves from a single estate in the low lands, near the tequila volcano. The cooking process is know in a traditional brick oven. Afterwards, the agave is ground in two parts: 1 part goes to a traditional tahona and the 2nd part goes to a mechanical mill. The cooked juice is then fermented with fibers. A double distillation in stainless steel pots with cooper coil takes place and finished at 84 proof, just ideal for cocktail making and agave aficionados.
