Eido da Salgosa is a micro-winery located in the O Rosal zone of Rías Baixas, founded by three friends—Juan Chamorro, David Rial, and Manuel Calzado—in 2014. What started as a small experiment quickly evolved into a serious venture, with the trio now producing less than 20,000 bottles annually across two projects. Their estate sits in the village of Tomiño, near the Minho River, on the border with Portugal, where the unique coastal terroir allows them to craft exceptional Albariño wines.

Their flagship Albariño, made from grapes grown in the Sobrada vineyard, showcases the region’s signature granitic and clay soils. The wine is known for its vibrant acidity, layered mid-palate richness, and aromatic complexity. It’s fermented with native yeasts and aged on the lees for four months, resulting in a fresh yet textured expression of Albariño, perfect for those who seek more than just a “summer sipper.”
