At the beginning of the 1950s, Claude Thomas started with a few hectares in the village of Chavignol, thus creating a typical estate, becoming emblematic over the years. Following his retirement, a second generation took over — his daughter Florence and her husband Jean-Paul Labaille. Today, the farm extends over 11 hectares located in the villages of Chavignol and Sury-en-Vaux, including some exceptional plots on the slopes of Monts Damnés.
