The St. Laurent family started planting grapes in the rocky soils of Oregon’s Rogue Valley in 2017, after decades establishing themselves in the region with one of the first cattle ranches in America to produce 100% natural beef without the use of growth hormones or antibiotics. Domain St. Laurent is nestled where the sprawling valley meets the foothills of the Cascade Range at an elevation of 1,500ft. Planted mostly to Pommard, Wadenswil and Dijon clones of Pinot Noir, the marine climate to the west and fringes of high desert to the east lend a complex minerality to the wines thanks to cold nights and dry summer days. Sustainably-farmed vineyard yields are closely controlled to highlight primary red and dark fruit aromas and increased flavor concentrations. The result is seductive, lively and downright delicious estate-grown Oregon Pinot Noir at an incredible pricepoint.
