Domaine des Allegrets is housed in the village of Villeneuve de Duras in the Cotes-de-Duras, situated in the south-west bet- ween the Garonne and the Dordogne. The family Blanchard has been in the area for some 500 hundred years and the Do- maine is now run by the fifth generation of winemakers, the young and enthusiastic Julien Blanchard, and his parents Francis and Monique. It is well known for its Sauvignon Blanc and red wines and is often cited at the highest level by the highly res- pected Guide Hachette.
