The Alpe Distillery has been managed with passion and expertise for over 60 years by the Calvetti Family. This family specializes in producing traditional liqueurs and grappas from the Val d’Aosta, in the far north-west of Italy. Made from local herbs, including artemisia, gentian, gentianella, mint, and others, along with imported bitter herbs like cinchona from South America and Chinese rhubarb root.
