Salento – Founded in 1970, Cosimo Taurino turned generations of family winemaking into a successful winery with the release of Notarpanaro. It was then that Cosimo left his job as a chemist and was able to focus on creating the quality wines that allowed his name worldwide distinction. Today, the winery is run by his wife Rita, their daughter, and her husband. Together, they strive to maintain the late Cosimo’s reputation, producing wines that represent Cosimo’s commitment to tradition and quality as well as a proclivity for modern innovation.
