Campania- Described as one of the “last of the great undiscovered wineries in Taurasi”, The Lonardos have been living in Taurasi since the end of the 18th century. The family members, all professors, have dedicated themselves to the wine production with love and great skill.  The farming of their 4 hectare property, has been done organically for generations.  The soil composition varies from a clayey-limestone composition for the lower vineyard, to volcanic for the vineyards located at higher elevations (up to 400m above sea level).  Only indigenous yeasts are used during vinification and 600 liter tonneaux are the vessels for aging, allowing for the purest expression of the fruit to shine. These wines are beautiful, balanced, complex, and powerful. Everything you would expect from one of the greatest producers from one of the greatest DOCGs in Italy.
